Polling the Community in the (Helping Hand) Program

Almarai has placed a set of voting platforms in commercial centers and universities in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam to poll various groups of the community as part of its upcoming social programs within the  (Helping Hand) program which was launched this September to select the field the company will support in its social responsibility programs.

Almarai has placed a set of voting platforms in commercial centers and universities in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam to poll various groups of the community as part of its upcoming social programs within the (Helping Hand) program which was launched two weeks ago and will continue through September 22 with the goal of selecting the field the company will support in its social responsibility programs.

In this step, Almarai seeks to widen the circle of the company’s campaign in addition to allowing voting on the company’s website. In this campaign, the company is allowing the public to select one of a set of social fields or focuses, and the company will then select the one with the highest number of votes to support through its social responsibility program (Helping Hand).

Through this program, Almarai seeks to offer the greatest possible support for the social field that is selected in line with the company’s strategy and continuing obligations to the community it works in.

Almarai has a strong interest in social responsibility work and supports more than 50 charitable societies in the Kingdom in addition to a number of annual awards including the Almarai Award for Scientific Innovation which, in cooperation with the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, recognizes leading scientists annually, the Award for Academic Excellence for students of member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and the Veterinarian Award which the company founded to support the veterinary profession and raise awareness of its importance.
