Minister of Labor honors Almarai
Dr. Muffarij Al Haqbani, the Saudi Minister of Labor honored Almarai Company for its real contributions and investments in Saudization of jobs. This honoring took place during his sponsorship of the celebration of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry of graduating the 22nd intake of the specialized professional diplomas program. Mr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al Bader, Almarai’s General Manager of HR and Support Services, received the Shield of Honor. Mr. Al Bader maintained that Almarai’s cooperation with the chambers of commerce and industry and the Ministry of Labor, stems from the Company’s long-term plans and programs to nationalize workforce in foodstuff industry in Saudi Arabia through support, recruitment and qualifying the job-seeking national cadres who graduated from government and private Saudi universities and institutes.
Mr. Al Bader added that Almarai Company has several programs and initiatives in this field, including but not limited to, the Food and Dairy Technology Institute, which Almarai established in Al Kharj in collaboration with the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training, and the Human Resources Development Fund, to qualify and train Saudi youth in food and dairy industries. Moreover, Almarai Sales Academy was recently established to qualify and train Almarai staff to work in sales sector. Furthermore, Almarai implemented the Future Managers Program, which qualifies university graduates to lead the Company departments in the future.
