Almarai signs cooperative agreement with Al-Jouf University
Almarai Company signed a cooperative training agreement with Al-Jouf University. The signature event was attended by HRH Prince Fahad bin Bader bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Jouf Region, HH Prince Sultan bin Mohammed bin Saud Al-Kabir, Almarai’s Board Chairman, and several princes, officials and dignitaries.
Faisal Marzouq Al-Fahadi, Almarai’s General Manager of HR and Support Services signed the agreement for the Company. Dr. Ismael Mohamed Al-Bishri, Al-Jouf University Provost, signed on behalf of the University.
Under the agreement, Almarai will provide on-duty training opportunity for the students in a congenial environment that imparts the trainees the experience required in almarai’s work, and enables the students to integrate theory and practice. The training will be conducted through a semester training plan including all agreement execution details. The agreement stipulated which party is committed to develop the training programs, pay remuneration, provide housing, and conduct periodic student performance evaluation.
Al-Fahadi elaborated that the cooperative training of the Saudi students is part of Almarai direction towards training and employing them. He stressed that the agreement states that there is employment priority for the university students in Almarai’s various sectors, after passing the set training programs with the required efficiency.
