“Almarai” honors 37 students who completed diploma program

“Almarai” Company celebrated 17 of its students who fulfilled the requirements of the training diploma program of Almarai’s Dairy and Food Polytechnic “DFP”. The students completed two-and-a-half years of study and another two-and-a-half years of practice in Almarai farms and factories in Al-Kharj. The company handed them the diploma certificates.

Mohamed Al-Tuwaijri, Almarai’s HR Operations Manager stated, “Almarai believes strongly in capabilities and potentialities of the Saudi youth if the development means were made available to them”.

Al-Tuwaijri noted that Almarai is currently employing more than 8500 Saudi staff, and that the company has several initiatives for Saudization of jobs such a ”Future Managers” and “Tomorrow’s Leaders” programs, and Almarai Academy.

On his part, Ibrahim Al-Oqaili, DFP Executive Manager, said, “This batch of graduates is not the first one, DFP graduated many Saudi young men who were qualified and trained to join the labor market”.

Al-Oqaili stated that since its opening, total graduates of DFP reached 322 alumni. He added that DFP is a strategic partnership program between Almarai Company and the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training “GOTVT” under a program championed by the Ministry of Labor.

Al-Oqaili indicated that the program is also one of Almarai’s social responsibility programs that contribute to Saudi Vision 2030 in its youth support component.

It is worth mentioning that Almarai devotes some production lines in its factories in various Saudi regions for women and those with special needs. The company received several Saudization awards.
