Almarai: Most positively perceived brand by customers in Saudi Arabia 2016
Almarai Company got the title of most positively perceived brand by customers in Saudi Arabia, in the second half of 2016, according to the BrandIndex Ranking, of the market research company YouGov.
Almarai came in the seventh position in regard to video uploads internationally in 2016. Almarai’s video of breast-feeding, which became a national and international buzz, got the second sharing rate internationally on YouTube in one week of posting it on the website.
Abdullah Al-Otaibi, Almarai’s PR Manager said that this trust by the customer in Almarai came as a result of a long history of conforming to quality standards in the company’s farms, its factories, transport, and supply chains
Al-Otaibi added that these two achievements add new responsibilities on the company’s staff i.e. to retain the customer’s satisfaction and confidence.
It is worth mentioning that Almarai, established in 1977, is the largest vertically integrated dairy company in the world. It was listed as a public joint stock company in the Saudi Stock exchange in 2005. It exports its product ranges to GCC countries and some Arab states with he biggest transport fleet in the Middle East.
