“Almarai” signs MOU with Imam University
Almarai Company signed Memorandum of Understanding “MOU” with Imam Muhammad bin Saudi Islamic University, Riyadh, to offer cooperative and summer training opportunities to university students via “Almarai Club”.
Faisal Marzouq Al-Fahadi, Almarai’s Human Resources and Support Services “HR & SS” General Manager, maintained that this memo part of Almarai’s long-term plans and programs To Saudize food industry domestically. This endeavors is effected through supporting, attracting, and qualifying alumni of Saudi government and private institutes and colleges. Moreover, the memo is part of the corporate social responsibility “CSR”.
Al-Fahadi added that Almarai Company operates several programs and initiatives to this effect, including Tomorrow’s Leaders Program “AFLP” and Future Managers Program “GPT” to qualify and recruit university graduates in the company departments in the future. In collaboration with the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation “TVTC”, Almarai also established the Dairy and Food Polytechnic, Al-Kharj “DFP” to train Saudi high school graduates in food and dairy industry. Moreover, Almarai recently established Almarai Sales Academy to develop the Saudi youth to work in Almarai various sections.
It is worth mentioning that Almarai owns several trademarks that present its products into markets, namely “Almarai” for milk, juices, dairy and derivatives; “Lusine” for bakeries; “Alyoum” for poultry; and “Nuralac” for infant milk formulae, as well as the partnership with the Greek company “Chipita” in “7Days” trademark.
