TVTC Governor attends graduation of 103 Saudi DFP students
Today, Monday, Dr. Ahmed Al-Fuhaid, the Governor of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation “TVTC” sponsored the graduation ceremony of the sixth and seventh batches of the Dairy and Food Polytechnic “DFP”, Al-Kharj, graduates totaling 103 Saudi graduates. They will be employed in the labor market in several sectors comprising animal production, food, and maintenance. They ceremony was attended by some DFP and Almarai leaders.
DFP was established by Almarai’s proactive endeavors in collaboration with TVTC and Human Resources Development Fund “HRDF”. DFP aims to qualify and train specialized Saudi dairy and food industry cadres and to boost Saudization efforts.
In a press statement, TVTC Governor said “I thank the Custodian of the Two holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince HRH Prince Mohamed bin Naif, and Deputy Crown Prince HRH Prince Mohamed bin Salman, for taking care of youth, offering them opportunities to work in various sectors, and providing all the programs, projects, and courses that help young men and women in developing their careers”.
He added that TVTC has developmental programs that enable youth to find various job opportunities. These efforts go in line with the National Transformation Program NTP2020 and the Saudi Vision 2030. He noted that TVTC provided training programs for thousands of young men and women in the previous period to drive them into the local labor market, and contributed to building and development of their theoretical and practical capabilities.
Abdullah Al-Bader, Almarai’s representative and DFP Chairperson, stated that the private sector has to benefit from Saudi youth in filling positions. He added that Almarai Company launched several community initiatives that contributed to Saudization of administrative and technical jobs through its partnerships and joint programs with some bodies. He noted that Almarai acted upon provision of training and employment opportunities to Saudi youth, and it succeeded in its endeavors by inducting hundreds of youth in its several programs.
Al-Bader maintained that Almarai sponsors, trains and employs all trained graduates along several stages, starting with their joining the diploma program until their graduation after 2.5 years to kick-start their career.
DFP Executive Manager, Ibrahim Al-Oqaili, stressed that DFP succeeded in upgrading the job security of its alumni by employing them in Almarai.
Al-Oqaili said, “DFP offers several programs that boosts positive behaviors of the trainees to move into their work environment positively. DFP offered several community initiatives and held some community partnership at Al-Kharj Governorate level out of belief of its role in community development to boost the real value of citizenship”.
It is noteworthy that since its creation, DFP graduated 389 Saudi young men with 100% job stability n the last three batches.
