Almarai and Saudi Scouts cooperate in this year‘s hajj
In this year’s pilgrimage season, Almarai Company launched a community initiative in collaboration with the Saudi Arabian Boy Scouts Association “SABSA” aiming to serve Allah’s guests and facilitate performing their pilgrimage rituals.
Almarai provided SABSA service camps in pilgrimage sites with foodstuff in support of volunteerism and enhancement of SABSA’s annual role and services
Abdullah Al-Otaibi, Almarai’s PR Manager, said Almarai participation in this year’s pilgrimage is to encourage Saudi youth to volunteer via the official channels such as SABSA. Al-Otaibi added that Almarai would be always in such occasions, as it considers serving the pilgrims a social responsibility to the communities in which Almarai works. He maintained that this is not the only contribution in this year’s pilgrimage season; it is one of several initiatives to make pilgrims and volunteers’ mission easier.
It is noteworthy that Almarai Company, since its foundation in 1977. Has had a substantial role in supporting philanthropic activities and sponsoring volunteering and community service activities. On its part, Almarai launches several initiatives to boost the community’s health and social awareness.
