In Moments 2019 : Lebanese, Omani, and Saudi contestants got adult awards

Lebanese photographer Zainab Khalifa got the first place of adult category in Moments 2019 “Our Arab Souks” announced Wednesday by Almarai Company and National Geographic Abu Dhabi at Dubai city.
The Omani photographer Ahmed Al-Touqi came in second in the same category. The Saudi photographer Thamer Al-Faraj was awarded the third prize. In the young category, the Omani Wafaa Abdulhamid got the first place award, Mohamed from Saudi Arabia came second, and the Moroccan Othman was awarded the third position prize.
In its ninth edition, titled “Our Arab Souks”, the competition received high turnout participants who touched 50,000 contestants from all over the Arab world, mostly from Saudi Arabia.
Abdullah N. Al-Otaibi, Almarai’s Institutional Communication and Public Relations Manager said, “Almarai is pleased with the talents we saw today. We are proud supporting these Arab capabilities and incentivizing them to continue and innovate further. I thank all the contestants for giving us the opportunity of discovering their talent. By sponsoring this astounding platform, I hope we have given them the opportunity pursued by each gifted talent”.
It is noteworthy that winner of the First Place Award in the adult category will gain exploratory photography trip along the Danube river with National Geographic at US$ 10,000 and photography equipment worth US$ 5,000, in addition to featuring the winner’s photograph in Arabic National Geographic magazine. The First Place winner in the young category will get photography equipment at the amount of US$ 5,000.
