Almarai Sponsors World No Tobacco Day
Marking the World No Tobacco Day, Almarai sponsored the anti-smoking campaign rolled out by Saudi Arabian charity Naqa (Purity) under the tagline “Live it Pure” that started its activities on May 31, 2021 for one week, in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.
The campaign aims to raise public awareness of the health and social impacts of smoking, and promote a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
“Offering sponsorship to causes and campaigns of this sort further asserts Almarai’s national role as a responsible corporation. Such contributions complement our social responsibility efforts by helping protect citizens and residents from the perils of tobacco, and raise awareness of all risks associated with smoking including economic loss,” said Abdullah Al-Otaibi, Head of Corporate Communication and Public Relations at Almarai.
