“Almarai” transfers its experiences to the members of the “Made in Saudi” program
Today, Sunday, July 11, 2021, Almarai Company announced the placement of the “Made in Saudi Arabia” logo on some of its products in the local markets, starting from next November 12.
This came during a speech delivered by Faisal bin Marzouq Al-Fahadi, Executive Vice President of Almarai Company, at the welcoming meeting with the members of the “Made in Saudi” program, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Export Development Authority, Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef.
Al-Fahadi confirmed in his speech that Almarai is proud to be a main partner of the “Made in Saudi Arabia” program, since the launch of the program, stressing that this partnership demonstrates the strength of the Saudi industry system in its launch towards enhancing the presence of the Saudi national product, at the regional and global levels.
He added that Almarai, as the largest producer and distributor of food and beverages in the Middle East, and the largest vertically integrated dairy company in the world, will provide, through its experience over more than 4 decades, two workshops for the members of this program during the current year 2021 AD with the aim of exchanging and transferring knowledge from the company’s expertise in several areas, including Supply chains, logistics and food quality and safety.
“Almarai Company is confident in the success of the activities related to the “Made in Saudi” program and the achievement of its objectives, which will contribute to the arrival of national products to global markets, raise the percentage of non-oil exports, contribute to achieving the Kingdom’s prosperity and growth significantly, and achieve the aspirations of our rational government. Under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, may God protect them, and His Highness the Crown Prince” Al-Fahadi said.
