Almarai Wins Corporate Social Responsibility Award 2025 for the Second Consecutive Year

H.E. Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman AlRajhi  Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, presented Almarai with the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Award 2025 in its second edition during a ceremony celebrating outstanding CSR performance in the private sector. This second consecutive win reflects Almarai’s ongoing success in implementing sustainable initiatives that enhance community well-being and support Saudi Vision 2030.  

The recognition highlights the effectiveness of Almarai’s sustainability strategy, built on three interconnected pillars: caring for people, protecting the environment, and producing responsible products. In practice, Almarai’s CSR efforts translate into programs focused on education and skills development, community empowerment, and environmental initiatives that enhance resource efficiency and long-term sustainability. Through active partnerships with national entities, these programs have made a direct, positive impact on the lives of more than 50,000 people.

Private-sector contributions reached 4.18% of total social spending in 2024, surpassing the 4.15% target, while the Kingdom ranked 21st globally on the IMD Corporate Social Responsibility Index. Building on this momentum, Almarai continues to expand its targeted programs in education, skills development, community empowerment, and environmental sustainability to reinforce alignment with national priorities and amplify long-term impact.

The company’s CSR portfolio includes strategic partnerships with government and non-profit organizations, investments in youth education, and the adoption of sustainable farming practices that benefit rural communities. The company also advances environmental stewardship through initiatives that reduce water and energy consumption and increase the use of renewable energy.
