Almarai launched its annual campaign (Ramadan Baskets) to help hundreds of needy families in various Kingdom regions. The campaign came in corresponding with the holy month, Ramadan.
The benefited families were identified with the support of a number of groups and associations such as Tamouh Volunteering group, Martyrs of Duty Association, Friends of Football Players Association, Dar Al-Dheyafah Association for Girls, as well as, the Arab Open University.
“This campaign comes within the framework of the company’s social responsibility program that promotes community solidarity by touching the needs of low-income families in various regions of the Kingdom and fulfilling part of their requirements, in this holy month,” said Abdullah Al-Otaibi, head of corporate communication and public relations in Almarai.
It is worth mentioning that Almarai annually sponsors and supports more than 300 charitable organizations working in service and community development in various regions of the Kingdom
