During the past two weeks, Almarai has provided food baskets to 14 charities in various regions of the Kingdom as part of its corporate social responsibility program.
The charitable societies are Al Ber Charity Society in Riyadh, Skills Center for People with Special Needs in Al kharj, Area Al Rowad daycare center in Riyadh, the Disabled Children’s Association in Abha, Al Barakah Charitable Endowment in Al Madinah, Takaful for the care of orphans in Khyber Governorate, Kidney Patients Association in Hail, Rohamaa Health Society in Riyadh, Charitable Society for Orphans Care (Kahattin) in Jeddah, Dhul Nourin Quran Complex in Riyadh, Zia Association for the Blind in Abha, Waqf your house for the care of the mentally ill and the homeless in Jeddah, Rawafed National Association in Umluj of Governorate – Al Nasbah Center and Taiba Association for Mobility Disability for Adults in Madinah.
“Almarai’s participation came from its role as one of the substantial companies supporting food security in the Kingdom. Almarai’s poultry products continue to lead the market in Saudi Arabia by moving in rapid growth and sustaining food security and local content in Saudi Arabia. Almarai pumped more investments in the poultry sector intending to develop production facilities and raise production capacity to serve various regions in the Kingdom.” Abdullah Al-Otaibi, Head of Corporate Communications and Public Relations in Almarai.
It is worth mentioning that Almarai annually sponsors and supports more than 300 charitable organizations working in the field of service and community development in various regions of the Kingdom.
