Almarai Wins the Labor Award 2025 in the People with Disabilities Category

Almarai achieved a new milestone by winning the Labor Award 2025 in the People with Disabilities category for large and giant enterprises. The award is granted by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in recognition of outstanding private-sector efforts to create inclusive and attractive work environments that adhere to the highest professional standards. The award was received by Mr. Fawaz Aljasser, Chief Executive Officer of Almarai, from His Excellency H.E. Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman AlRajhi, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development.
This achievement reflects Almarai’s continued commitment to empowering people with disabilities and enhancing their integration into the workplace. The company employs more than 650 employees with disabilities across its various sectors. As part of its efforts to foster an inclusive work environment, Almarai has inaugurated a silent production line for employees with hearing disabilities at its Hail factory, in addition to the existing production line for hearing-impaired employees at its Al-Kharj factory. These initiatives are part of the company’s broader strategy to empower employees and provide a safe, fully inclusive work environment.
This award underscores Almarai’s ongoing dedication to developing the workplace and promoting diversity and inclusion. It also builds on the company’s strong track record of institutional achievements, having previously won the Localization Award for the Food and Beverage Sector 2024 for large and giant enterprises, the Best Chief Executive Officer Award for Giant Enterprises, in addition to obtaining the Workplace Adaptation Certification as the first company in the Kingdom in 2018.
