The project of the Almarai Investment Company in the poultry sector in Al-Shamli Governorate in Hail won the award of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Hail Region, “Basma” in its main branch, as the best stimulating and supportive project for the sustainable development process in the Hail region, which contributes to achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
This came during the Basma award ceremony that was held Sunday, December 25, 2022, by the Hail Region Development Authority, in its fifth consecutive season, under the auspices of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Hail Region, and in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Almarai Company, His Highness Prince Nayef bin Sultan bin Muhammad. Bin Saud Al-Kabeer, His Excellency the Minister of Education Youssef bin Abdullah Al-Bunyan, His Excellency the Minister of Health Fahd bin Abdul Rahman Al-Jalajel, His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Eng. Mansour bin Hilal Al-Mushaiti, His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Transport and Logistics for Road Affairs, Eng. Badr bin Abdullah Al-Lami.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Almarai Company, His Highness Prince Nayef bin Sultan bin Muhammad bin Saud Al Kabeer, expressed his profound thanks to His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz and added: "This award represents Almarai Company's growing commitment to investing in sustainable development in Hail region, and confirms the company's strategic role in achieving the Kingdom's 2030 vision in all fields, foremost of which is enhancing food security in the Kingdom.
It is noteworthy that Almarai Company launched expanded investments during the current year in the regions of Hail and Al-Jawf, at a value of approximately 6.6 billion riyals, to expand poultry production in the Kingdom as part of its investment plan for this vital sector. The presence in different geographical locations in Saudi Arabia enhances the essential security of the industry, in addition to distributing the company's contributions to Economic development in various regions of the Kingdom.
