Almarai Inaugurates Five New Production Lines at Its Subsidiary Beyti to Advance Food Manufacturing in Egypt

Almarai, the world's largest vertically integrated dairy company and the largest food and beverage manufacturer in the Middle East, celebrated the inauguration of five new production lines at its subsidiary, Beyti, in the Arab Republic of Egypt. This latest development follows an investment program totaling more than EGP 1 billion.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by H.E. Lieutenant General Eng. Kamel Al-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport, along with Anwar Bin Hassousa, the Commercial Attaché of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Dr. Jacqueline Azar, Governor of Beheira, and Mr. Abdullah Albader, CEO of Almarai, among other senior company executives.

This expansion aligns with Almarai’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the Egyptian market, support national efforts to localize food manufacturing, enhance product quality, meet consumer needs across Egypt, and grow export operations to more than 45 countries worldwide. It also reinforces the company’s role in creating additional employment opportunities.

“The operation of these new production lines at Beyti represents an outstanding model of high-impact investments that strengthen the food sector. It also aligns with the state’s direction to promote advanced technologies, create direct and indirect jobs, and enhance the competitiveness of Egyptian products in regional and international markets,” said H.E. Lieutenant General Eng. Kamel Al-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport.

“Our new investments affirm Almarai’s commitment to supporting Beyti’s growth in Egypt, one of the company’s most strategic markets. They also showcase our dedication to bringing world-class expertise and technologies applied across Almarai’s facilities to enhance operational efficiency, expand production capacity, and deliver high-quality products that live up to our promise of ‘Quality You Can Trust.’ These enhancements will also enable Beyti to expand its export capabilities in the coming period,” said Mr. Abdullah Albader, CEO of Almarai.

The new investments have strengthened Almarai’s production capabilities, bringing the total number of production lines to 32, while the company’s direct and indirect workforce in Egypt has grown to more than 6,000 employees. Beyti operates an integrated facility covering 120 acres and offers more than 100 products in local and international markets, with an annual production capacity of 650,000 tons.
