Almarai Sponsors Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad Environmental Excellence Award

His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Hail Region, honored Almarai in recognition of its Diamond Sponsorship of the Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad Environmental Excellence Award. This appreciation was during a ceremony held in Hail, organized by the Hail Branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, and attended by senior officials, representatives of government entities and the private sector.

Almarai’s sponsorship reflects the company’s strong commitment to corporate social responsibility and its support for national initiatives that advance environmental sustainability, promote practical solutions, and strengthen environmental awareness, positively impacting quality of life and the protection of natural resources. The sponsorship also supports efforts to highlight leading initiatives in environmental protection, innovation, and community engagement.

The award aims to promote environmental sustainability and raise environmental awareness in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and the Saudi Green Initiative, targeting government entities, private-sector organizations, volunteer teams, and individuals. It also supports environmentally focused innovation and local development initiatives, including the Environmental Ideas Bank and Khairat Hail.

Almarai has a long history of successful sustainability projects and initiatives. Recently, it received the Corporate Social Responsibility Award 2025, while its CEO was named among Forbes Middle East’s “Sustainability Leaders 2025.” Almarai also signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with e& enterprise to support emissions reduction, including developing a greenhouse gas emissions database across more than 100 sites and progressing toward science-based targets.
