Almarai supported the community training program “Quwa Bila Onf (Strength Without Violence): Bullying Prevention and Safe Breakaway Skills,” organized by Taktiiik Sports Academy in partnership with the Charitable Society for Orphans Care in Riyadh (Ensan). The initiative reflects Almarai’s commitment to national programs that build self-confidence, promote preventive awareness, and empower young people, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to create a vibrant society, a thriving economy, and an ambitious nation.
The program aims to train 725 beneficiaries from Ensan branches in Riyadh on bullying prevention and safe breakaway skills, including personal safety, de-escalation, safe withdrawal, and seeking help when needed. Delivered as practical training over three weeks by qualified trainers, with three training days for each group, the program focuses on situational awareness, setting healthy boundaries with confidence, and learning safe breakaway techniques from common holds. It also emphasizes that self-defense is about protecting oneself from harm, not harming others. These skills are designed to be applied directly in students’ daily lives, at school, in their neighborhoods, and on public transport, enhancing their safety and helping shape their character around respect and responsibility.
“This initiative reflects Almarai’s belief in investing in people from an early age and in the power of self-confidence and non-violence to build a strong and balanced society. We are proud to support a focused program that provides young people with practical life skills and amplifies the positive impact of our partners at Taktiiik and Ensan. Almarai will continue to support initiatives that inspire and empower youth and contribute to a better quality of life in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030,” said Mr. Abdulrahman Almazyad Al-Huwifadh, Public Relations Manager at Almarai.
As part of this collaboration, Almarai is providing daily catering for participants and organizers throughout the program, helping create a seamless training environment where trainees can stay focused and fully benefit from each session. This support builds on Almarai’s broader corporate social responsibility efforts, which prioritize community well-being and youth empowerment through education and skills development, alongside initiatives in health, sports, and partnerships with non-profit organizations.
Almarai has a longstanding partnership with Ensan, which has included numerous activities and care programs for orphans in the Riyadh region over the years and culminated in the signing of a memorandum of understanding to enhance care and support for orphans in the Kingdom. In addition, Almarai supports more than 400 charitable organizations every year that work to serve and develop communities across different regions of the Kingdom.
