Barbecue Chicken Pizza

This recipe combines smoky flavors and cheese to offer you a delicious and unique dining experience.

Ingredients

For the Chicken:


1 Alyoum Chicken Breast


½ teaspoon salt


½ teaspoon black pepper


½ teaspoon garlic powder


½ teaspoon paprika


1 tablespoon olive oil


¼ cup barbecue sauce


For the Pizza:


1 homemade pizza dough


½ cup barbecue sauce (plus extra for drizzling)


1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese


½ cup shredded cheddar cheese


½ red onion, thinly sliced


½ cup sliced mushrooms


¼ cup corn kernels


½ teaspoon dried oregano


Fresh cilantro or parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
  1. Preheat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat.
     
  2. Season the Alyoum Chicken Breast with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
     
  3. Drizzle the chicken with olive oil and grill for 5-6 minutes per side until fully cooked.
     
  4. In the last 2 minutes of cooking, brush the chicken with ¼ cup barbecue sauce.
     
  5. Remove the chicken from heat and let it rest before slicing or shredding.
     
  6. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
     
  7. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
     
  8. Transfer the dough to a baking tray.
     
  9. Spread ½ cup barbecue sauce evenly over the pizza dough.
     
  10. Sprinkle with mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
     
  11. Top with grilled chicken, red onions, mushrooms, and corn.
     
  12. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
     
  13. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with dried oregano and fresh cilantro or parsley.
     
  14. Drizzle extra barbecue sauce on top for added flavor.
