Chicken Cashew Nuts

A delicious and flavorful dish that combines tender chicken with crunchy nuts in a rich and savory sauce, perfect to be served with steamed rice.

Ingredients

500g Alyoum Chicken Breast Cubes, mixed with 1 tbsp cornstarch and 1 tbsp soy sauce


2 tbsp soy sauce


1 tbsp oyster sauce


1 tbsp hoisin sauce


1 tbsp honey


½ tsp black pepper


¼ cup chicken broth


2 tbsp oil


1 onion, diced


1 red bell pepper, sliced


1 green bell pepper, sliced


3 cloves garlic, minced


1 tbsp ginger, grated


½ cup roasted cashew nuts


2 green onions, chopped


1 tsp sesame seeds

Instructions
  1. In a bowl, mix the Alyoum Chicken Cubes with cornstarch, soy sauce, and set aside.
     
  2. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan and stir-fry the chicken until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the pan and set it aside.
     
  3. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, black pepper, and chicken broth. Stir well and set aside.
     
  4. In the same pan, add the remaining 1 tbsp of oil and sauté the garlic, ginger, and onion until fragrant.
     
  5. Add the red and green bell peppers and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
     
  6. Return the chicken to the pan, pour in the sauce mixture, and mix well.
     
  7. Stir in the roasted cashew nuts and cook for another minute.
     
  8. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
     
  9. Serve hot with steamed rice.
