Chicken Kofta Skewers with Yoghurt Sauce Recipe

Chicken Kofta Skewers with Yoghurt Sauce is rich with its unique spices, creating a delicious and flavorful dish. Paired with creamy yoghurt sauce, this meal brings a refreshing taste and balance. It's an excellent choice for sharing during light meals or as a delightful light main course!

Ingredients

For the Chicken Kofta:

 

1/4 cup Almarai Greek Yogurt

 

500g Chopped ALYOUM Breast Fillet

 

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

 

1 small onion, finely grated

 

2 cloves garlic, minced

 

1 teaspoon ground cumin

 

1 teaspoon ground coriander

 

Salt and pepper to taste

 

Wooden skewers

 

For the Yoghurt Sauce:

 

1 tablespoon Almarai olive oil

 

1 cup Almarai Greek Yogurt

 

1 cucumber, grated and drained

 

2 cloves garlic, minced

 

1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped

 

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
  1.  Mix ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Almarai Greek Yogurt, grated onion, minced garlic, ground cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
     
  2.  Form the mixture into a small sausage-shaped kofta around the soaked skewers.
     
  3.  Grill the chicken kofta skewers until fully cooked and golden brown on all sides.
     
  4.  For the Yoghurt sauce, combine Greek Yogurt, grated and drained cucumber, minced garlic, fresh dill, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix well.
     
  5.  Serve the chicken kofta skewers with Yoghurt sauce on the side.
