Chicken supreme

A delicious dessert, perfect for family meals with a unique flavor and easy preparation

Ingredients

Alyoum whole chicken, boiled and shredded

Salt and black pepper, to taste

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp butter

1 small onion, finely chopped

200 ml al Marai Whipping cream

100 ml chicken stock

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

1 tsp lemon juice

1 cup peas and cubed carrots

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
  1. In a large pan, reduce the heat to medium. Add the chopped onion and sauté until soft. Add the peas and carrots and cook for a couple of minutes.
     
  2. Pour in the chicken stock and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
     
  3. Stir in the Dijon mustard and lemon juice and Al Marai whipping cream. Let the sauce simmer and thicken for 3–4 minutes.
     
  4. Add the shredded chicken to the pan, spoon the sauce over it, and simmer gently for 2–3 minutes until well coated and heated through.
     
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley.
     
  6. Serve with mashed potatoes.
