Fresh Cream And Strawberry Tart

A delicious and easy-to-make dessert that combines the creamy softness of the filling with fresh strawberries to add a special touch to your table.

Ingredients

Ingredients for the dough:

1 ½  cups all-purpose flour


½  cup butter, chilled and cubed


¼  cup powdered sugar


1 egg yolk


2 tbsp cold water


Ingredients for the filling:


1 cup Almarai Fresh Milk Full Fat


½  cup cream cheese


3 tbsp sugar


1 tsp vanilla extract


Fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions

For the dough:
 

  1. In a food processor, combine the flour, butter, and powdered sugar. Pulse until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Add the egg yolk and cold water, and pulse until the dough comes together.
     
  2. Press the dough into a tart pan and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
     
  3. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Bake the crust for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown. Let it cool completely.

    For the filling:
     
  4. In a mixing bowl, mix together Almarai Fresh Milk Full Fat, cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
     
  5. Spread the filling into the cooled tart shell and top with fresh sliced strawberries.
     
  6. Chill for 1 hour before serving.
