Meat Kabsa Recipe

Prepare for Ramadan suhoor with a delicious and quick experience with Meat Kabsa.

Ingredients

For the Meat:

 

1/4 cup Almarai olive oil

 

1 kg meat, diced

 

1 medium onion, chopped

 

3 cloves of garlic, minced

 

1/4 cup Almarai olive oil

 

1 teaspoon mixed spices
 

1 teaspoon cumin

 

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

 

Salt to taste

 

For the Rice:

 

2 cups of rice

 

4 cups water

 

Salt to taste

 

For Serving:

 

Roasted nuts (almonds or pine nuts)

 

Chopped parsley

 

Lemon slices

Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, heat Almarai olive oil and sauté the chopped onion until translucent.
     
  2. Add the diced meat to the skillet and stir until it changes color.
     
  3. Add garlic and spices (mixed spices, cumin, black pepper, and salt).
     
  4. Stir the ingredients well until the meat is coated with the spices.
     
  5. Allow the meat to cook on low heat until fully cooked.
     
  6. For the rice, wash it thoroughly to remove starch.
     
  7. In a pot, boil water and add salt.
     
  8. Add the rice to the boiling water and let it cook for 15-20 minutes until done.
     
  9. For serving, arrange the rice in a serving dish. Place the minced meat on top of the rice.
     
  10. Garnish the dish with roasted nuts and chopped parsley.
     
  11. Serve it with lemon slices on the side. Enjoy your meal!!
