Mozzarella Stuffed Potato Balls

A delicious and crispy snack that combines the soft taste of potatoes with melted mozzarella cheese, making it perfect

Ingredients

4 medium-sized potatoes, peeled and boiled


200g Almarai shredded Mozzarella Cheese


1 egg, beaten


1 cup breadcrumbs 


1 tablespoon flour


Salt and pepper, to taste


1 teaspoon garlic powder


½ teaspoon paprika


Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions
  1. Boil the potatoes in salt water until fork-tender (about 15-20 minutes). Drain and mash the potatoes until smooth. Let them cool slightly.
     
  2. Season the mashed potatoes with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
     
  3. Take a small portion of the mashed potato mixture and flatten it in the palm of your hand.
     
  4. Place a cube of Almarai Mozzarella Cheese in the center and carefully mold the potato around the cheese to form a ball.
     
  5. Repeat with the remaining mashed potatoes and mozzarella cubes.
     
  6. Roll each potato ball in flour, then dip in the beaten egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs. Press gently to ensure the breadcrumbs stick well.
     
  7. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot over medium-high heat.
     
  8. Fry the potato balls in batches for about 3-4 minutes, or until they turn golden brown and crispy.
     
  9. Remove from the oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
     
  10. Serve hot with a side of marinara sauce.
