Spinach Pastry

Preparation time  : 30 min

The meal that everyone loves “spinach pastry” , as a side dish on lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

8 pieces L'usine Sliced White Toast


 

8 cups fresh cut spinach

 


1.5 cups finely diced yellow onion


 

1 tablespoon of salt


 

¼ tablespoon of ground black pepper


 

¼ cup lemon juice


 

½ tablespoon of allspice


 

1 battered egg for sealing

Instructions
  1.  Sprinkle spinach with salt in a medium bowl. Set aside to macerate for 10 minutes.
     
  2.  Combine the spinach and onion.
     
  3.  Just before filling the bread cut, it in circles, add allspice, pepper, and lemon juice.
     
  4.  Bake in the middle of a preheated oven at 190c for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
