Ingredients

For the cake:


4 large eggs


1 cup sugar


1 Teaspoon vanilla


1/2 cup Almarai Fresh Milk Full Fat


1/2 cup oil


1 1/2 cups flour


1 tablespoon baking powder


Pinch of salt

 

To prepare the milk syrup:


3 cups Almarai Fresh Milk Full Fat


1 cup Almarai Sweetened Condensed Milk

 

for the whipping cream:


2 cups whipping cream

 

for the caramel layer:


1 cup sugar


3 tablespoon butter


1 cup Almarai Fresh Cream

Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, mix the eggs with sugar until it doubles in size then add remaining cake ingredients and mix until well combined.
     
  2. Pour in a large, buttered cake pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180C around 25 to 30 minutes.
     
  3. Meantime, mix the milk syrup ingredients together and set aside.
     
  4. To prepare the caramel, add sugar to a small casserole, and let it cook until it turns golden brown. Add the butter and let it melt completely, then slowly pour in the fresh cream.
     
  5. Once the cake is done, remove from the oven and soak with milk syrup mixture.
     
  6. Let it cool completely before covering it with the whipped cream and caramel mixture.
