Whole roasted oriental chicken

Ingredients

1 whole Alyoum  Fresh Whole Chicken Bag Pack


2 tbsp olive oil 


1 tbsp melted butter


1 tbsp soy sauce


2 tbsp lemon juice and lemon zest


½  tsp salt


½  tsp black pepper


1 tsp allspice


1 tsp cinnamon


4 cloves garlic (minced)


1 tsp paprika

Instructions
  1. Mix all the marinade ingredients together and rub them on the chicken from all sides, including under the skin as much as possible.
     
  2. Let the chicken marinate for at least 1 hour.
     
  3. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
     
  4. Place the chicken in a roasting pan.
     
  5. Roast the chicken uncovered for 55 minutes, basting it with the juices every 20 minutes.
     
  6. If the skin browns too quickly, cover it loosely with foil.
     
  7. Place the roasted chicken in the center of a large serving platter.
     
  8. Surround it with cooked rice and minced meat.
     
  9. Garnish the dish with toasted nuts and fresh parsley.
     
  10. Serve with yogurt on the side.
