Almarai Company launched its annual campaign to raise awareness of oral and dental health and ways to care for them in cooperation with King Saud University and Princess Noura bint Abdul Rahman in the city of Riyadh, which continues until March 25, 2024, AD.
Almarai implements this campaign annually in cooperation with King Saud University and Princess Noura bint Abdul Rahman University in an ongoing partnership for more than ten years to educate society about the importance of oral and dental health, ways to care for them, and the effects of this on the general health of the individual.
Head of Corporate Communications and Public Relations, Abdullah Al-Otaibi, said: “This campaign comes within the system of Almarai’s corporate social responsibility program, which in one of its aspects is concerned with health awareness and promoting community culture about the importance of oral and dental health,” adding that health awareness is one of the most essential pillars of Almarai’s corporate citizenship as it the most prominent food and beverage company in the region.
Al-Otaibi added: “The strategic partnership with educational institutions and universities in implementing awareness campaigns is an approach that Almarai applies in many of its community development initiatives.”
It is worth noting that Almarai Company supports many health awareness initiatives in the Kingdom, including keeping the Health Endowment Fund with 2 million riyals to King Khalid Hospital in Al Kharj. Almarai also won the award for the best health initiative for employees, “Awareness,” which was organized by the Ministry of Health in partnership with the Health Insurance Council, in addition to Its commitment, through its social media platforms, to promoting healthy culture.
