Almarai honored the winning mothers in the fourth edition of Almarai Award for the Ideal Mother for People with Disabilities. The ceremony was conducted in Al-Baha under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Hussam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Al-Baha region, in the presence of Mr. Abdulaziz bin Barakat Al-Malki, the Deputy Emirate of Development Affairs, and Mr. Ahmed Al-Zahrani, the Director of the Association of Children with Disabilities in Al-Baha Region, as well as a number of mothers of disabled children.
“For the fourth year in a row, Almarai confirms its commitment towards these great mothers who are distinguished in their giving. The third edition was conducted in the Hail, and here we are today in Al-Baha to honor the winners in the fourth edition of the award,” said Abdullah Al-Otaibi, Director of Corporate Communications and Public Relations at Almarai.
Al-Otaibi continued: “This year’s award was awarded to 10 mothers who achieved the maximum benefit for their children from rehabilitation and integration services in the centers of the Association of Children with Disabilities. This is what Almarai seeks to promote through this collaboration with the Association.”
It is worth mentioning that Almarai Award for the Ideal Mother, the first of its kind in the Kingdom, was launched in 2017. Five ideal mothers were honored in the first edition in Riyadh in 2018, while ten ideal mothers were honored in the second edition in Makkah Al-Mukarramah in 2019. In the third edition were Honoring 20 ideal mothers in the Hail region for 2020.
